Combined Pyramid Rules

The Game

Combined Pyramid is one of the most popular disciplines in Billiards. It requires extreme precision and strategic thinking.

Key Regulations

  • Standard Balls: 16 balls (15 white, 1 colored striker).
  • Pocket Size: Pockets are only 2-4mm wider than the balls, demanding absolute accuracy.
  • Victims: After pocketing a ball, the player chooses any white ball to be removed from the table as a "victim."
  • The Striker: The colored ball is usually the striker, but after the break, any ball can become the striker depending on the specific tournament local adjustments.

Game Format

Matches are typically played as Best of 5 or Best of 7 frames. Each frame is won by the first player to pocket 8 balls.
